Prapaporn allegedly sold the girl to the Frenchman for 3,000 baht.
According to the police, Prapaporn admitted to pimping out the girl from Laos and keeping 1,300 baht from the transaction. Prapaporn claimed that the girl went with foreigners willingly, but she was still charged with human trafficking and pandering of a minor. The Frenchman was charged with child molestation.

March 2013, Australian Paedophile arrested.
An Australian man, Karl Joseph Kraus, who is 93 years old, has been accused of raping four young Thai sisters in one of the most severe child sex abuse cases investigated in Thailand. However, Kraus may never face justice as he is claiming that he is suffering from terminal prostate cancer and is asking the court to dismiss the charges.
He said from a court cell in Chiang Mai that nobody is helping him and that he cannot walk, but he was still put in prison. His lawyer has been gathering evidence from doctors to support his case for dismissal on the grounds that he is unfit to stand trial. Kraus attempted to flee to Burma last year but was apprehended and returned to Thailand. He could be released if the court agrees to drop the charges after examining his medical records by March 18.
Kraus could face up to 20 years in jail if convicted of the offenses. Police allege that Kraus lured one of the four underage sisters to a house with promises of imported chocolates and English lessons when she was only five years old, and abuse began. They also claim that he possessed over 100 photographs of naked children, including some with him posing with them, and that he gave his young victims money. Additionally, Kraus allegedly sent obscene pictures overseas, suggesting involvement in an international pedophilia network. Despite the seriousness of the charges, Kraus was granted bail of A$12,900 after his arrest in 2010.
While on bail, he appeared lively and drove a car around Chiang Mai while claiming that he was denied medical care and that Thai officials had offered bribes to free him. However, no evidence was presented to support these allegations. Kraus has frequently stayed in Chiang Mai, a city popular with foreign tourists.
American paedophile Jackson Mathew Hall aka Tyler Smith.
Reports have emerged that an American man who was charged with multiple instances of child sexual abuse has fled to Thailand and used a fake identity to work as an English teacher in Khon Kaen and Rayong provinces for years.
The man in question is Jackson Mathew Hall, 26, who reportedly faced charges in the US for several alleged child sex assaults. Hall is now believed to be in Thailand and working as a teacher under the name Tyler Smith. The Bangkok based Friends of Women Foundation is leading the campaign to locate Hall, urging anyone who spots him to report him to the police in order to protect children.
Hall's history of alleged sexual abuse dates back to 2014, when he was indicted on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy in Cullman County. His bond on those charges was later revoked after he was accused of exposing himself to a delivery woman in Morgan County. In June 2015, he was indicted in Madison County on an aggravated child abuse charge for allegedly hitting a child.
According to reports, Hall faked his own death to escape the charges in Alabama before fleeing to Thailand. The Thai authorities became aware of him in March, when the family of a woman named Nittaya Polseepim reported her missing after she was seen leaving with a man who called himself Tyler Smith.
The Biriram Times believes that Smith is really Hall, and that Polseepim may be helping him evade arrest. Nittaya's family is concerned for her safety, and her ex-husband has posted photos of a man who looks like Hall on Facebook, calling him an "American pedo fugitive". It is believed that Hall may be using copies of another teacher's documents to conceal his true identity.

June 2012, Gregory James Miller - US Expat Gregory James Miller jailed for 38 years in Thailand for child sex abuse.

The presiding judge, in delivering the sentence, stated that Miller's behavior, which involved repeated sexual abuse of a young child over a prolonged period, warranted a severe sentence. Pattaya is known as a global hub for sex tourism, with countless prostitutes offering their services in the town. This 24/7 hedonistic lifestyle draws men from all corners of the world. However, there is a much darker side to Pattaya that has attracted the attention of authorities worldwide. The growing number of sex offenders operating in Pattaya is raising alarms.
A recent report by the Human Help Network Foundation Thailand (HHN) has highlighted the vulnerability of street children in the town. Child prostitution in Pattaya is thriving due to the high number of homeless Thai and foreign children who are exploited by sex tourists and parents selling their children into the trade.
Unlike before, children who have been lured into the sex trade now roam the streets at night or approach potential clients themselves during the day at shopping malls. Poor parents are also known to introduce their children to clients. According to HHN, there are around 25,000 street children, both Thai and migrant, with up to 2,000 based in Pattaya. There are also many children who are not homeless but suffer poverty and are at risk of being lured into child prostitution.
It may appear that child sex is being sold openly on the streets of Pattaya, but most children on the street are with their parents, selling chewing gum, shining shoes, or helping with their family's street selling business. However, the number of homeless children is increasing, and so are the number of sexual offenses against children by western males.
Some expats in Pattaya claim that the statistics are exaggerated and that this is just another attempt by the western media to tarnish Thailand's reputation as a sin city. However, with over 400 children residing in the Pattaya orphanage, many of whom have been victims of child abuse while living on the streets, it's clear that the issue is more prevalent than ever.
To investigate further, a study was conducted on western men arrested on child sex charges in Pattaya over the past five years. What was expected to be an hour's work turned into three hours of uncovering new cases. The results speak for themselves.
