Muay Thai became end of the 20’s very popular internationally and overseas, specially in the Netherlands in the 80’s. We all remember One of the best Dutch fighters ever; Ramon Dekkers (4 September 1969 – 27 February 2013), fought many times with great Thai champions and was a real Muay Thai champion.
At the end of the 20’s and begin of the 21the century, this sport became very popular over the world. Many Westerners came to Thailand to practice Muay Thai and in many countries they start to organized fights. The Western kick boxing rules, as example without knees and elbows, different styles of mixed rules and of course the original rules, the Muay Thai rules.

At this camp many champions all over the world came to exercise for the last 40 years, especially on the pads and to learn clinching. The famous Samart Payakaroon came from there and is one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters all time.
