Tracing Pattaya's treasured locations in the past with a journey through map memories.
In the bygone era, websites and business cards were the go to sources for locating relevant businesses in Pattaya and Thailand. These valuable resources often featured location maps, both on the websites and on the back of popular business cards.
For cab drivers, these ones were a godsend. Displaying to them made navigation hassle free, leading them directly to the intended destination, although some drivers might still take detours and go in circles, as is their style.
These maps held significant importance for the websites, offering visitors an easy way to identify streets, addresses, and the specific places represented on the location map. As you explore this collection, you may come across familiar sights that trigger memories of places you have visited before.
While some of these places still stand today, most have sadly vanished over time, succumbing to closure, name changes, sale, or demolition. Regardless, we hope you stumble upon a map from the old days depicting a place that continues to exist, sparking delightful recollections.
Take a trip down memory lane and let your mind wander through cherished moments of the past. Our intention is merely to assist you in this journey of rediscovery, no more, no less. Have fun exploring the maps and reliving your precious memories.

The U Too Bar, the old bar located on Pattaya second road between Soi 4 and Soi 5, used to be an incredibly popular place. It was one of the best spots in Pattaya, always bustling with people, and I have fond memories of the great times I had there. It was a place full of nostalgia. Unfortunately, the landlord decided not to renew the lease contract because the building was slated for demolition by a project developer. Thus, an unforgettable era came to an end.
After its closure, Nat, the wife of one of the owners, attempted to start a new bar in Drinking Street, a little further up from the original location. However, it couldn't replace the cherished memories and atmosphere of the old U Too bar.
