Located at the intersection of 2nd road and Soi 1 in North Pattaya, Drinking Street was an open air beer bar complex situated across from the Tiffany cabaret show. Despite its secluded location, this venue was gradually expanded from a few hut style bars to a massive open air stadium sized complex with over 25 bars.
This street has a unique feature.
A central DJ who plays music for the entire complex, eliminating the need for each bar to blast their own tunes in an attempt to outdo one another. It's definitely worth a visit, especially after 9pm if you find yourself at the far end of Second Road or if your hotel is located nearby.

Nongjai 2 was a restaurant located next to this complex. It was known for its authentic Thai cuisine, particularly seafood dishes. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and was popular among both locals and tourists. Very sad that this also had to be demolished, another place that disappeared.
